A rice farmer in Ubud, Bali, Indonesia cultivating the dirt in his rice paddies. This area’s economy thrives from local art co-ops who sell their work to tourists coming through Bali. I think I remember the number of co-ops was around 200 and pretty much the entire town was just selling artwork from amazingly intricate wood sculptures (some of which people were working on for 7 years or more) to contemporary oil paintings. The place was an absolute dream and I really hope to visit again sometime in my life. This particle photo was taken a bit outside of town near a restaurant which served I’m pretty sure all local produce grown organically. Delicious food.
